The Audi S4 hoses have small, brittle plastic connectors which require a delicate touch when removing.
When you're putting the electrical connections back together in Audi S4s and other German cars, you have to make sure they're lined up exactly right. If you don't hear a *click*, then they're not securely fastened and could work themselves loose over time.
The red towel stuffed into the S4's turbocharger on the lower left makes sure that nothing falls in accidentally and destroys it.
The Audi wiring harnesses (the green, brown, and black boxes below the red plier handle on the upper right) have to be reconnected in their proper order, even though they can fit in the wrong order.
